This is the best guitar tab and instructional video I have found for this song. This is the most accurate tutorial I have found for this possible song. Although Break Free has been done by Hillsong, I think the United version is the most solid. It may take a little work but with this video and tab, I’m sure you can get all the parts to the song. This is what I used to learn it.

You have to mute the strings with your fretting hand and rake across them with your pick in between the above riff as well. To mute the strings, rest your fretting hand lightly on the strings, such that you get a 'pluck' sound, but not the note. You picking hand has to strum all the way, 4 times each beat (1234,2234,3234,4234, etc...). Your fretting hand mutes the strings by default, and presses down on the notes when you need the notes to sound out. You also need to listen carefully to the rhythm in the CD.. I suspect mine has inaccuracies. This is the most correct tab and video I have found anywhere for this difficult song. This is exactly how I played this song at my last church and it sounded tight. I know a lot of guitarists have had some problems with this song so this should set you straight. You will need tune your guitar down a half step to play along with this but when playing live, it sounds great in standard tuning.
